This 2854 square-foot Cape Code home in North Falmouth, Mass, merges old and new ideas to create beauty and livability, says architect Andrew T. Zalewski of The MZO GROUP, Stoneham, Mass. Oustside, the house along the ocean features a wraparound mahogany porch with traditional detailing. Inside, every room takes advantage of the ocean views, including the bright sun room/breakfast area and a kitchen with cherry cabinets and granite countertops. Zalewski designed the house with the stairs-way in the kitchen in order to not disrupt the flow of the foyer or block ocean views.
